Simplicityn sustainability, economy
At a time when energy prices are soaring and everyone is aware of the carbon footprint, the wood stove represents an economical and ecological solution that should not be overlooked. What’s more, this equipment has evolved significantly, especially in terms of design. The wood stove is simple to implement and maintain. With natural convection or air ducts, not only is it the most affordable heating system, but it also contributes to the quality of the interior decoration.
The Salon Du Poêle can help you determine which stove will best meet your needs and expectations, according to your tastes.

For better efficiency and optimized combustion, use dry wood (-20% moisture, or 18 months of drying);
If you need to dry your wood, the ideal solution is to store it in a 1m pile, covered only on top.
Good to know: depending on the length of the logs, the stère of wood will not correspond to the same volume. Thus, 1 stère = 1 m3 with logs of 1m Long. With logs of 50, 1m3 = 1.25 stère, and with logs of 33, 1m3 = 1.42 stère... Good to know when ordering wood!
- Load your stove as it heats over long periods. An overload at the start of the heating process interferes with the stove’s performance and clogs the ducts. Similarly, heating for short periods of time reduces the efficiency.
- According to regulations, your stove must be swept twice a year, once during the winter.
